Driving Directions from Bluefield WV...
If you're traveling through the Bluefield WV vicinity, there are basically two ways you
can get to Split Pine Lodging.

1.  You can take the
"good roads" route.  This route is primarily interstate
and/or four-lane and takes you through the Beckley, Charleston, and Logan
vicinities.  Even though this route is longer in mileage, it may take less time
to travel.  Split Pine strongly recommends this route for  drivers who are
hauling trailers, campers, or similarly large conveyances; or for drivers who
are not accustomed to traveling, winding mountainous 2-lane roads.

2.  You can take the "scenic" route.  This route is primarily of  winding 2-lane
roads through the coalfields of southern West Virginia.  While this is the more
direct route, it may take more time to travel.  Split Pine strongly discourages
this route for drivers who are hauling trailers, campers, etc, or who are not
accustomed to traveling these types of roads.
